Not everybody is here, is it still usable?

Definitely! A pre-member state exists built in. The Contact feature keeps track of all the activity for stubborn or non-techie crew. When the team members eventually learn how or decide to hop onboard, their profile will be migrated from contact to member using your reports.

Skills vs Roles, what is the deal?

They are the same value within crewlist, the difference is where they are mentioned. Skills from your profile become roles in the productions you are part of. This field helps sort the member list of the day under departments in a big crew. Jobs are also linked to a certain responsibility. So you might want to avoid creating one long comma-separated custom skill, and insert them one by one to take full advantage of the platform features.

Do I need to install anything?

Short answer is no, since mobility is the focus. Your email or phone number plus the set password is everything you need from most online devices.

Yet, if you want the stability of a dedicated icon on the device, there is something you can do. Browsers let you turn links into web apps, just log in and pick the system corresponding solution.

Setting a desktop app icon on

Open Safari, go to crewlist.ro and log in.

Once you are on the main page, head to the three dots from the bottom right corner.

Hit “Share”, “View More”, then “+ Add to Home Screen”.

Be sure to have the toggle “Open as Web App” on and the top right button “Add” closes the deal.

You now have the crewlist app without the App Store updates hassle.

What does the main screen look like?

As a member, unless you are or have already been in an ongoing project, you are greeted by the message: “No shoots scheduled. You’ll appear here once a manager adds you to a project.”

The slider shown on this page is a placeholder example of a crewlist layout.

Why do I need a QR?

Crewlist aims to replace the classic printed call sheet but a paper on set for edge cases is a great redundancy plan.

The static signage doesn’t need to have static information. The printed QR ensures the information is as updated as the team manages it.

How do I get access?

crewlist.ro is a closed professional platform. To register you need an invitation code from an existing member, or you can contact admin [at] crewlist .ro directly.

This extra-step measure intends to protect personal data and project information.
